Black Bullet (ブラック・ブレット Burakku Buretto) is a projectile created from Varanium, which can harm Gastrea.

With their gun, the user's main projectiles of choice are Black Bullets, which are created from the very same material that keeps Gastrea away from the Monoliths, Varanium. It has been stated that with said bullets, Gastrea will not be able to recover; giving the user the upper hand when in combat. Black Bullets possess a gold rim and a gold bullet case. The prominent feature of the projectile is its black head, infused with the Varanium meant to harm Gastrea. Regardless of their superiority over the parasites, Black Bullets are designed with the height of a normal bullet.[1] These Black Bullets were able to harm a Stage I Gastrea greatly,[2] in contrast to when attacked with regular bullets; inflicting no harm.[3]
